About Idonara
Hiring is human. We’re here to keep it that way.
Idonara exists for a simple reason: when hundreds of people apply for one job, good people get lost and the humans doing the hiring burn out — and the tools meant to help made it colder, not kinder. We’re building the opposite.
Why we exist
A sorting problem dressed up as a people problem.
Hiring at volume breaks in a predictable way. Good candidates get buried. Recruiters drown. The right person is sitting in the pile, unread. And the industry’s answer — auto-rejections, robot interviews, faces scored by a machine — solved the volume by removing the humanity.
We think that’s backwards. The reading is the part machines are good at. The deciding, the connecting, the judgement — that should always be human. So we built Idonara to read every application carefully and fairly, surface the people who genuinely fit, and leave every real decision where it belongs: with a human.

The name
Idonara — “the right one for the task.”
Idonara (say it id-oh-NAR-uh) comes from the Latin idoneus — “suitable; the right one for the task.” It’s a name about fit: the right person for the role, understood as a whole person, not a keyword. It leads with the outcome, not the technology — which is exactly how we think about hiring.
